Im looking for a card to record mainly and watch TV/video
it seems to be between the All In Wonder and the Hauppage WinTV PVR but since im a beginner at this I cant really see what the differences between them are. I know the AIW has 3D graphics too but whats the difference with TV/video recording features? As far as I can make out, the Wintv does mpeg2 recording in hardware, does the AIW? Ive only got a celery266@400 but can uppt hat pretty soon if needed.
Also I know I can watch and record TV but can I have a feed coming from the satillite reciever going into the card so I can record satillite transmission too? Im in the UK if thats any help. Would I just run a cable from the vcr to the card and the sat signal would go thru it into the card for recording?

thx all

it's simple.
AIW is all the features and functions in one card without second addition card needed.

WinTV is a just for watching Tv and record; and it needs to work with your primary video card.
Win Tv won't work if without a video card.

For the video editing, AIW is good to be all in one and fully easy to use and has a nice interface, too. at last, it does do Mpeg2 encoder adn decoder.
