The heat sink fan on my All in Wonder video card is making a high pitch squeal. I have checked that there is nothing physically impeading it, such as dustballs. it is nearly the loudest thing in my case and i think it may be dying.
Does anyone know of a replacement for it, or even how to get it off?
I would like to buy a quieter replacement to go with my new alpha/papst hsf.
 
I think you could use a blue orb. It would probably be a good idea to check out video card related sites though cause I'm not the expert.. maybe rage3d or something.
People say that you put it in the freezer for a while and then the heatsink will come off easy. Then you have to clean the surface of the chip before applying your new heatsink and you have to use thermal epoxy. Good luck.
