All-in-Wonder 9700 Pro problem.

Got a question here with my new ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 9700 Pro video card. The problem is this. I have isntalled the latest drivers, Catalyst 5.3 and am getting a purple-ish tint on the whole screen.

My monitor is a Dell Flat Panel - E172FP, I am using a VGA to DVI adapter for the card. My system is a Dell Dimension 4500 with 1gb of DDR at PC2100. I have a 120gb hard drive, my system is a Pentium 4 at 2.0GHz.

I would like very much to be able to fix this problem and to be able to enjoy this new card instead of having to go through all of this.

Roll back to the previous drivers you were using.

I wasn't using any drivers prior to Catalyst 5.3, I just installed the card yesterday.

Found the problem. Was something very, simple. I wiggled the VGA to DVA adapter up and down very slightly, and I found that in order for things to work properly, the vga to dva adapter has to be slightly downwards; it must have been pointing upwards before, since when I had moved it upwards, I reproduced the same thing as before. So hopefully this solves all my problems.
