For some reason when listening to tv my volume is 1/10 of doing whatever else. What i meant by that is; just to be able to listed to tv program, I have to crank my speaker all the way up, and listen to tv with all the buzzing noise coming out of the speaker. I try using both the internal audio connector and the external audio in plug with the same result. At first I thought it was my onboard soundcard, so I dig up my old computer parts box, and I found good old soundblaster live value. I install the card, Reinstall all the driver, reinstall ati multimedia, but I still ended up with the same result. Could this mean that I have a bad card (tv tunner)?? Should I try anything else before I call ati and ask for RMA ?

thanks

I don't think the architecture is different... my 7500 AIW has the audio going in through Line In on the sound card. Have you check Line In volume? Do you have it in Mic instead of Line In?

Yup check the line in as the most obvious. (Double click on the speaker icon and make sure you get the 4 volume bars instead of the single master volume bar if you sinlgle click. Make sure Line in is way up there.)

One other problem maybe if you have front mic and headphone jacks on the front of your case and you mis wired them. Happened to me and I had strange problems with my right audio channel (mine is a VIVO model not an AIW so YMMV)
