Hi everyone,

I am seriously considering water-cooling my rig, and I really would prefer as complete a kit as possible, because I don't know a ton about water cooling. Therefore, I am looking for an effective kit that cools the CPU, GPU, and northbridge, and has the ability to add another GPU block later when I decide to go SLI. Any recommendations? Thanks people!

hey im about to take a plunge too!

this is the kit I will be buying:

http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-wat-60.html

there is also a 120x1 and a 120x2 rad combination as well, I will be selling that chipset waterblock tho, I have a sli-dr so it wont fit, will take some offers, pm me :)
Back on topic, this kit is complete and has all the mouting instructions that you will need, it is also a good performer.

Stryke.

Hmm, I have the A8N-SLI Deluxe, which I presume the water block would fit onto, but I was considering getting the DFI board because Asus hasn't gotten off their ass in fixing the 1T issue. How audible is the stock northbridge fan on the DFI board?

You may also want to look into stuff from Danger Den, you can configure your kit there any way you want it. I just took the plunge myself, and my temps are fantastic....my 6800gt temps at full load are 50°C! My cpu at load is about 43.

If you're looking for a kit and don't want to DIY look at the Swiftech kits, Danger Den, Asetek Waterchill and Corsair Cool. Really depends on what you want to cool (CPU, GPU, chipset).

Just do yourslef a favor and take a day to research some good parts, and then do it on your own.

A) it will be cheaper
B) it will more than likely perform better
