All in One Printers

My aunts looking into getting a new printer for her home office to take the place of the printer/fax/scanner/copier she has right now. No big deal, right? Well, she also would like for it to have slots for the memory stick that her camera uses, and that it would come with some good fax software. Off the top of my head I seem to remember a HP that had all the features she was interested in, but was wondering if there was a better option. Price is something of an issue.

Any help would be appriciated.

Canon MultiPASS MP730 (Inkjet)

Although it doesn't come with fax software. The machine itself is a fax machine and software isn't necessarily needed for it to send/receive faxes.

If you do want good fax software that works well and doesn't have the resource load of Winfax Pro, check out "HotFax Message Center 5" from Smith Micro. J&R Music World had it at the best price - still do, $25.! (price elsewhere $40-50.)

About the only diff between the 360 and 370 is that the 370 has memory card slots and doesn't have the rebate. Doesn't have fax function, but if she has a fax-modem in her computer, then that wouldn't be too much of a problem - scan it in, fax it out with HFMC5.
. The MP360/370 uses the BCI-24 ink tanks which are fairly small and the color tank is tri-color - but they are CHEAP, a set of black and color is less than $4. shipped in quantity (USAinkjet store on eBay). But if you do a lot of printing and/or need the stand-alone faxing capability , one of the more expensive models that use the BCI-6 and/or BCI-3e larger separate tanks (as mentioned above) might suit you better.
