All-in-one Printer/Fax/Scanner/Copier machines

Hiya,

I've been asked for buy one of these all-in-one machines for my father-in-laws office. Don't really want to pay over £300 ($420), although I might be able to be swayed to spend more cash if required.

I've been looking at possibly getting the HP Officejet V40 - seems to be pretty decent for the money.

Any suggestions?

I'm actually searching for a machine that can do those things except for faxing. The machine for you is HP OfficeJet PSC 950 . I don't know the price in US $ but I think the price is pretty decent.
I've just ordered the PSC750, so if you wait a few days I can come back to you and tell you about how good it is at printing and scanning.

Of course you will get a much better machine because it's a flatbed scanner that's on it....

<edit> Oh and the price is actually listed on the first linked page...but do some searching and you can find a much better price than that...</edit>

My dad has two Brother 4 in 1's and loves them. They are an older model though!

I want the Lexmark X83, it is cheap and fast, with good quality, but Lexmarks tend to use ink quickly.

I had a POSCanon Never again PIECE of crap and they has a very poor customer service dept..I never talked to anyone there that didnt have a major aditude problem
I dumped that junk as soon as I could
My vote would be the H-P or Lexmark

The HP G85 is a great one. About 50 bucks more than your limit but it rocks

I'm very close to ordering the HP OfficeJet V40 for $159 from Staples.com with free shipping and FREE $40 Staples GC (which I will use to buy more inkjet cartridges).
