all-in-1 printer recommendations

well im looking for a all-in-one printer,scanner,copier,fax

i need it to print photo quality pics and my budget is around $200

any suggestions?

also what specs should i look for in a machine like this?

photo pics eh? hope you have a large ink/paper budget. don't mix and match manufactuers ink/paper for photos.
 
If I were in your case, I'd buy each part seperately even if it costs more. Heres why:

If something goes wrong inside, very likely the whole thing is screwed. Whereas if you buy each part seperately, the chance of losing EVERYTHING goes down. Thats my opinion though...

That would be my first choice too but if he absolutely has to have an all in one then a Canon is the only way to go.

I have the HP 6100. It does a nice job on color photos and has a page feeder for scanning.
It's $300 at Staples.
 
Idon;t know the latest model number, but I got my Brother 9100 for $149 refurb. I like it becuse you can replace only the color that is empty. (besides I have a Phaser 850 for anything to print in color, I just like the fax part and the copier that works just like at the office.
