And that explains why everyone wants to come here? America is the absolute best country to live in. We live in a society with access to utilities, running water, great roads, wonderful public services, and a diverse community. We are generally free to believe in what we want and we are only one great idea from being considered successful. There isn't any country in the world I would rather live in. Go to Amsterdam and see how wonderful the country's tax situation is, or go to China and protest against the government. America the land of opportunity. America = The Best. I love the USA.

no there isn't. there might be somethings better elsewhere but when you put everything together the US is the place to be. but this doesn't mean the US is perfect. we need to fix up a lot of shit here.

Are you originally from this country? Have you experienced other places that didn't meet with your satisfaction?

Everyone? Hardly. You obviously haven't traveled internationally.

Not everyone has issues with paying taxes nor are as materialistic. As mentioned already, there are a number of nations whose people are happier than those in the US.

I'd love to live in Vancouver, BC, Barcelona, Spain, Sydney, Australia and many other places. And hopefully will some day.

It's hard to find someone who lived in 10 different places in their life time to tell you otherwise.

I've been to more places that I can count on my fingers & toes. Everywhere I have been has made me appreciate this wonderful country. Sydney is probably no.2 place in the world. Can you drink the water in Barcelona tap? America > Anyplace in the world.
