aight!!! i have a new build here are specs:
abit kt7a
duron 700
128 mb mushkin pc150
visiontek geforce2 gts 32 mb
-------end if what im tryin to boot with----------
ibm deskstar 40 g 7200 rpm
turtle beach montego quadzilla
52x cd rom

heres the prob... i turn it on and get a long series of continuous beeps(never ending it just beeps and beeps and beeps) per awards bios beep codes, this tells me its a mem prob. the memory works fine in another pc, and ive tried using other sticks of ram-same result. is there ANYTHING else i can do to get this darn thing to boot? ive stripped it down to the basics as you can see and still cant get anything, no video just a blank screen and alot of beeps. does anyone have any fresh ideas on what i can do here? or what the problem might really be? the memory is compatible with that mobo, i checked b4 buying.....
this is my first build btw:) (oh come on you were all there at one point too!)

Few things u can do: -
1. Try reseating the RAM.
2. Try the RAM in other free slot.

Post back.

You may just have a badly seated agp card. I would suggest reseating it, or better yet, try to see if it boots up with a PCI card. My current MB did not post at all until I tried a PCI card. After that, I was able to put my AGP card back in and everything thing was fine.

In my experience w/ PC...very rare tht all the 3 slots went bad. Hv u seated the RAM correctly?

Read the manual for instruction. Push the RAM until u can lock the RAM retainer.
