I think I'm gonna ask the wife to get me a watch for Christmas. So I'm thinking about a Fossil or a Citizen Eco-Drive. ANyone have one and wanna share a quick review? Any other recommendations? I'm mainly looking for a metal-band, dress watch under $200. Water resistance would be nice and those little dials inside the main dial are cool too.

Citizen produces more watches annually then any other manufacturer. Fossil makes many other things besides watches. I'd go for something a little less ordinary.

This is the Seiko that I picked up about 3.5 years ago. I only wear it when I'm dressed up or interviewing but I like it and I think it looks nice. I call it my "lucky watch" since I've only been on two job interviews wearing it (3.5 years ago and 1 month ago) and I got both jobs, never had to interview anywhere else. :)

I got my seiko from a Seiko factory outlet near here. It was a return with a slight scratch on the band but they sold it to me at half price. Scratch didn't bother me since I typically scratch the crap out of all my watches within the first few months anyway.

I have a non-ecodrive Citizen and my dad has an ecodrive version. We're happy with them :)
Whatever they did to make the glass (or whatever it is) scratch resistant, it's working amazingly well
