All downloads on new comp corrupted?

Every single file I have downloaded for my new computer has been corrupt. I've used a second computer with a network connection that actually works to compare MD5 keys and the same files have different keys. I have NVIDIA Firewall, Microsoft firewall, Avast, and Ad-aware running on my computer. I have disabled all of these and yet the MD5 keys are still different and the files still corrupt. Can someone please help? (And yes, I know I also posted this in the network forums, but I figured more people would see it this way)

remove the nvidia firewall. i have read in the past that it can cause problems liek this.
also its not usually a good idea to run multiple firewalls and anti-virus software at the same time.

I had the same problem except my corruption were only about every other file. It was the stupid nvidia network firewall. I had mine disabled, didn't do anything. I had to UNinstall it completely and *poof* never had a problem since...

Is it an NF4 mobo?
