All cold showers/baths. Do you take them?

Yes I said bath's too. I find all cold showers/baths to be fantastically refreshing on hot summer days. You have to psych yourself up a little to get in sometimes but they're great!

The baths are harder to get into than the showers. Your system almost goes into shock but if you REALLY need to cool down nothing beats them.

Put alcohol in a spray bottle, lay in front of a fan, and spray yourself. Much better than a cold bath.

i take cold showers, but not cold baths. on the rare occasion that i take a hot bath, it's to relax my body after a hard workout.

You are not getting fully clean if you take cold baths/showers as the cold water causes your pores to constrict preventing you from getting completely clean. You should take a hot shower first while using the soap and then switch to cold after you are clean to close your pores.

Yeah I wasn't suggesting that that's all you take 🙂

It could be 100 degrees and I still take hot showers.

It is like drinking hot coffee on a hot day, after you drink it and your body gets hot you feel cooler as you reach room temperature again.

Yeah as in the content of each shower is "All cold", that is not one drop of hot watter. I said do you take "them". I didn't mean that's all you take.

100 degrees in Seattle...I took a cold shower today and plan to tomorrow...it's still hot as hell in my apt- not going to be fun trying to sleep tonight...

Sometimes. I don't care for it when the hot water swings from 45C to 20C without notice though. :Q

No, I can afford to heat my water.

How's the Veyron running these days?

Like a Swiss watch. But now that the seasons have turned, I do not like the color. So I bought another one to use in the summer.

Have taken them for sports related pains/injuries. Really sucks but then you get used to it..real men take ice baths.
