dude,
Seriously, how much for you to fly to Kansas and change one for me? It doesn't need it yet but I figure I should jump on the chance!
well i'll need first class seating in the flight and a limo and a room at a five-star hotel. for the actual job, i'll only charge you the special Anandtech-member rate of $125 an hour. It should only take me about 3 hours to change it.
See, first, I have to look at it for a while to determine how the power connector comes off. then i have to try to reach around the battery to pull the light out and scratch my hand and not accomplish anything. then i have to realize the thingy needs to be twisted but be unable to twist it because stuff is in the way. then, thinking i'm doing it wrong, i'll try on the other light but be unable to twist it because more crap is in the way, and i'll scratch myself up some more. then i'll have to try to remove the entire headlight assembly but fail miserably. finally, i have to remove the battery and get the bulb out. it will take me a while to see how you can tell it's burnt out. then i will have to put the battery back in the car and drive to the parts store, which will be out of buisness. then i'll have to go to the dealer, where they will charge $12 for the bulb and try to sell me a new Accord. then back to your place, remove the battery, and replace the bulb. that's assuming i manage not to touch the bulb with my finger, which ensures it will burn out (thank you mr. part man for this advice).
