Some behavior is just to annoy others.

Yes, through the same weaselly logic used to prove that all actions are done to get something / there are no selfless acts.
For example: Donating blood (or a kidney) makes you feel better about yourself, therefore you get something in return.
It's true, but true in the same way that no one can prove that anyone exists except themselves. "I think, therefore I am" can't be extended to others because your senses might be feeding you incorrect information, you might only be imagining what you think is reality.
I choose to believe that I'm not alone in the universe, and that even though donating to a food bank might make me feel better, my primary motivation is selfless and not self-gratification.

I got that from a counselor once. After thinking about it for a long period of time, I can't seem to find it to be false. Can humans be distilled into such simple terms!!!?

People engage in a lot of activities that go counter to pleasure seeking or problem solving.
i.e. People getting drunk, doing stupid things and isolating themselves when they run into trouble, rather than pushing oneself to seek help and solve their issues. Don't you see these sorts of behaviour everywhere? (including myself)
Of course but that behavior is certainly more welcome because it benefits the giver and receiver not just the giver. 😉we volunteer, sacrfice, and suffer in order to help others or achieve a goal, which would then fulfill our selfish nature...
