Actually they are Brown Tree Snakes. Done a lot of damage here... but probably not as nasty as they're made out to be. I've been here on Guam for about 6 months now and have only seen 1. I know people who have been here for years and not seen any. They stay in the trees by day... only venture out at night. They don't drag young children away or anything else like that you may have heard

They are somewhat venemous...but their teeth are way back in their throat making it very hard to inject venom into a person.
