First, the driver is an idiot. When the car started to go off the road you can hear the driver gun the accelerator. You don’t do that in the midst of a crash. Also, if you notice the amount of free space in the steering he is lucky that he didn’t kill himself. Neither the vehicle or driver was ready to race. Truly a shame as it appears there was a lot of money in this vehicle.

Yeah, not sure what they were thinking of doing a rolling burnout on a curved narrow road, especially when you have some skinny arsed tires and probably a really low steering lock angle.

And lol at the last comment...
I think if you had a little more negative camber and added front splitter, you would've had it

I thought the steering at WOT on a dragster was less of a suggestion and more of a passing thought.

In the first camera angle, it looks like the steering disconnected. He was turning the butterfly steering wheel left, but the wheels weren't following....

I think his hand just completely missed grabbing the steering wheel because he just hershey squirted in his pants from major understeer and impending doom

That looked like the cart path at a golf course... why the fuck would you have a race there?

Notice the brainiacs running the event lined the flat, level side of the road with barricades and the sloped, muddy side of the road with a creek at the bottom with nothing at all. What could possible go wrong?

I believe its rod millens driveway in NZ. It's their version of UK's festival of speed

Maybe he gunned it to steer with torque!
