All 1.2ghz+ chips unlocked?

I heard that all 1.2ghz+ chips are unlocked? Is this true even for ones that are the B version, i.e. 200mhz fsb?

The vast majority are, but not &quot;all&quot;.
Initial 1.2GHz Athlons were locked, but since then basically all 1.2GHz+ Athlon have been factory unlocked. Your basically about 99% assured it will be unlocked.
Yes it's true for both the &quot;b&quot; and &quot;c&quot; versions.

What Rand said is correct. Thus, when buying, look at those CPU to see if the L1 bridges is closed or cut (open). Just to be sure.

Yup, they're unlocked. At least the two I've had has been.
