MSI 4890 at ewiz $235.99. Use Live Cashback to get back 5% $11.80. (Search under stores for Superbiz at live cashback.) Use coupon code: vgabailout for $20 off. Send in the rebate for another $20 back = $184.19 free shipping.

Now $10 more:

Update 5-2-09 MSI 4890 at ewiz $235.99. Use Live Cashback to get back 5% $11.80. (Search under stores for Superbiz at live cashback.) Use coupon code: BOGOBUY10 for $10 off. Send in the rebate for another $20 back = $194.19 free shipping.

Hmm, great deal, but I'm not seeing the "Live Cash Back" on the live search engine.

I can't decide between 4890 and 275 ....right now the 275 is much more expensive.

Go here live cashback . Scroll down to Superbiz. It is listed at 2% cashback, but it goes up to 5% when you click go to store.

I knew I should have waited. Was too impatient and picked up the Sapphire HD4890 from eWiz for $217 shipped.

Ah well, can't avoid the inevitable. Prices always go down...

They have Gigabyte 4890 for $219 as well. With the coupon -> $199. And 5% Cash Back -> $190?

But that one doesn't have 'Free Shipping' nor a rebate so it comes out aprox. $203 after shipping. Still not a bad deal.

Dammit! Caught off guard again by Hot Deals wicked left hook... and my wallet's down for the count again.

I'm in for one. My 8800gts is getting long in the tooth and giving me trouble with my dual monitor setup, so I suppose its about time to make this buy.

dont you love our 9.75% tax in CA. I know i do.

Boy! In my County in NY the sales tax is 8.625% and I thought
that was BAD.

Now it all makes sense why you guys buy your Oranges on exit ramps...

I am weak too....... In for one as well. Final price $215 with the 20bunny code, to Seattle WA. No Sales tax and no shipping. This price doesn't include the mail in rebate, so assuming I fill everything out correctly, that brings the price of this card to $195, plus another 5% off from the MS Cash back deal. Not bad at all... Thanks OP.

Can't decide whether to save $40 or get the XFX card...

As much as I prefer components with long warranties, I have yet to have to RMA a video card. MSI's warranty is only 2 years parts and labor, 3 years parts with labor extra. Not exactly the best out there. But as you said, the XFX lifetime card is $40 more.

Personally, I figured I'd save the $40. I still have a GF256 and GF3 Ti 200 sitting in my spare parts box that both work perfectly. And those things are ancient.

Same exact situation here. Cheers, OP!

I know what you mean. The xfx is a double lifetime warranty also comes with the free game.

Meh... in for 1. This card is factory overclocked, it's a reference design, and besides... who keeps video cards for more than a year anymore? 🙂

I also read HAWX was short, and figured I can pick it up later on for a dime. Instead, I'll pocket the $40 difference and make my wife less mad at me by buying her Randy Travis tickets.
