So I decided last night to check to see if my hdds were aligned properly and used paragon alignment tool and my data drive F: (a separate mechanical drive) was not properly aligned. I checked only that drive and made sure and rebooted into the dos program to realign. I left that running all night and awoke to find my computer in the windows recovery console saying it failed to attempt to fix the boot problem. Every time I attempt to boot it a bsod appears when it finishes post and attempts to start windows. What can I do??
drives in computer
C: (intel 320 120gb ssd)
D : (seagate 500gb hdd)
E: (samsung F3 1tb hdd)
F: (samsung F3 1tb hdd)
right now I'm in the windows recovery cmd prompt and I am using robocopy to backup the C drive to E. Afterwards I plan to do a secure erase and reinstall. All the data seems to be there so I feel like I might be able to somehow undo/fix the problem
