So i have this Sentia that I got through a trade. This thing has been nothing but a thorn in my side since i first got it, but I want to get it up and running for my friend, so here I am.

I recently moved it into a new case so that it wouldnt look nearly as beaten as it did, and ever since then the backlighting on the screen has been fvcked.

When the machine first comes on, everything is displayed, but after about a minute or so, the backlight goes out and sometimes the power light goes out as well. If I push the power button again, it picks up where it left off, but it still has no backlight. If I hook it up to an external monitor via VGA, that works just fine, but still no display. I cannot use the brightness adjusters on the keyboard to fix the issue either.

I have pulled the motherboard and inspected it for any blow or messed up caps or resistors, but I have seen none.

Anybody have any ideas?
