Alienware mobo bios

Thought i would ask here for help on an alienware system i gotten at a yard sale. The system runs fine but would like to replace the xp2200 w/ an xp2400 i have. Since warranty is not transferable and only the previous owner can access downloads from their site can someone who has an alienware acct get the latest bios from them for me? The board is an A7N266 and they said that the bios was reworked for them. using the asus bios for that may or may not work i was told. Can someone confirm that for me? Thanks
 
I would very shocked if the latest bios from Asus' website would not work as well if not better then the bios from Alienware. There may be a couple of small differences, but I doubt any differences that would amount to anything. I would ask around, but I would think a bios from Asus is all you would need.
 
It maybe possible to force flash To the Asus BIOS depending on the utility used. you will have to probably do a /h switch to see what options are available with the recommended utility.
