I'm going to buy an alienware M11x R1 , and as my budget goes i have only the money for one upgrade, so i was wondering wich would be better, an extra 2 gigs of ram (total 4 gigs), or a su 7300 instead of 4300, thanks for an answer!

ps. if there's a better laptop for gaming at that pricepoint and between 14'' and 11'', it's even better.

What is your budget? You can get both upgrades on Dell right now via EPP for $719 shipped if I remember correctly.

The RAM should be fairly easy to upgrade later. I'd grab the faster processor.

It's not that it's faster... it's the same thing with +1MB cache and Intel VT.

Still, though, I'd go for it!

FWIW, I added internal BT to my M11x r1 for about $14 shipped on eBay (Dell 365 module, IIRC). Mine was a Best Buy retail version with 250GB Hitachi HDD w/ free-fall sensor, SU7300, 4GB DDR3, and no BT. I had a cool little BT2.1 dongle before that but it was still worth it. The Razer Orochi BT mouse goes very well with it!
