The laptop is no longer under warrenty and sadly the CPU fan is broken and we all know what happens to a 3.2ghz prescott when it's CPU fan stops spinning. Massive throttling and probably eventually death. So I have been trying to take apart my friends laptop and have had little sucess. Does anyone know of any guides or tutorials for such a thing, or maybe even some personal experience? The owners manual is of little help, only telling us how to upgrade certain parts of the system.
