I picked up the Alienware Alpha Steam OS version, new for $382. figured I couldn't go wrong, with the I5, 8gb ram, and 1tb hard drive.

I had an windows 7 I wasn't using so I installed it on it then windows 10. I am very impressed with this little machine.

Windows 10 had all but three drivers. It had the wireless and it self updated the three missing drivers itself.

Havent played too many games on it yet, fan does get a little loud when its an intensive game. But watching Netflix, hulu, youtube doesn't spin up at all.

I will eventually get a, SSD for it and upgrade the ram to 16gb, but for now, its a perfect replacement for my previous HTPC.
 
as far as I can tell it only holds one drive, haven't completely torn it apart yet. I will eventually upgrade the ram to 16gb and replace the 1tb drive with either a 240gb or 480gb ssd.
