Aliens vs. Predator?!? Cameron to do Alien 5? W00t!

This isn't a man whose going to whitewash his opinion either, take for example his reaction to "Alien 3" - "Hated it. Simple as that. I hated what they did.... I couldn't stand Alien 3 - how they could just go in there and kill off all these great characters we introduced in aliens, and the correlation between mother and daughter. It stunk, but hopefully I'll get a chance to rectify all that". You mean the talk about him being tied to "Alien 5" is true? "To an extent. yes. We're looking at doing another one. Something similiar to what we did with Aliens. A bunch of great characters, and of course Sigourney. I've even discussed the possibility of putting him [Arnold Schwarzenegger] into the Alien movie". Also, Aliens vs. Predator is coming out August 4, 2004. Alien V will probably be dependent on how well AVP does.



Filmjerk reports that Aliens Vs. Predator is finally going to begin filming in Prague in October 2003. They also add the following:

This new film will not involve any of the human characters from the films? previous efforts, instead using entirely new individuals. As reported by several news sources, the story looks to involve human scientists going on an expedition to Antarctica to lure Predator hunters, using Alien eggs as bait. Of course, these plans quickly goes awry and the humans find themselves in the crossfire between two warring alien species.

They should have done AvsP a long time ago but after seeing Alien Ressurection I dont want to see anymore alien movies.

no no no my friend. That will be AWESOME.

If you look at predator 2, when they are on the ship, you will see an alien head in the backround. Not to mention that the AvP video game has done well. Fox owns the rights to both, and I for one will see this movie. They are bringing excellent people from all fields onto this project.

I don't see why it's ridiculous. Aliens vs. Predator was a pretty popular comic book series. And according to the series the Predators are the reason that the Aliens ever made it off their native world. Predators bred them onto other planets to have something that was the perfect prey to hunt.

Aliens sucked? Umm, okay.

And from the sounds of it, Cameron may make Alien 3 and Resurrection just a post-Chinese food nightmare. That'd be pretty cool.

i liked alien, aliens and resurrection, the prision one was kinda weird.
Predator was good, predator 2 wasnt as good and AvP better be good (good game)

They'd never do it of course, but perhaps as an anime???
