Back to occam's razor: the more reasonable scenario must be the case.

Which is more likely?

1. Aliens are sending ships close enough to our cities to be seen with the naked eye. The CIA has the technology to spy from space, but aliens, who can travel faster than light cannot.
2. The 'ships' are part of some US government black project. We know that the US government has some pretty high level black projects going on. We also know that there is a LOT of money going into some very dark 'black holes' and that we are spending around three times the money of any other country on our military.

I don't know about you guys, but I'll put MY money on door number two.
