I don't know whether it's an alien or a baby, but it's definitely old...and a welcome repost; I haven't seen it in a few years.:D

No, I was right initially....it is ichthyosis. Looks to be a pretty severe version, in a harlequin fetus. Basically a rare skin disorder; skin is over keratinized.

No way. Almost all cases die after a few days. I think the longest survival was a couple years, but I think that would have sucked even worse.
