The Stroke 9 cd is real good. I picked it up for like $8 when it first came out. Very nice. Smooth Criminal kicks ass though, I love that song. Sum 41 rocks, though their first cd isn't too good, but their new one is a lot better. The gorillaz cd isn't too good either, but there is a couple of good songs on it.

mtv just takes any good song, plays it too damn much, and ruins it...

as for looking for unknown bands, no I haven't.

you can't ruin a good song by playing it too much, you ruin a pop song even worse by playing it too much though

if its on MTV, its probably not worth listening too

Look for these bands:

Hoobustank

Finger Eleven (I've known lots of people on the internet who knows about them, but nobody on the street or my friends)

Jimmies Chicken Shack (reletively unknown)

Taproot is cool too and are fairly well known but nobody talks about them.

I don't think I've come across one that really makes me want to listen to it...

We all have different tastes of music. As long as it isn't nut'stink or Backstreetbitches it's ok...

I don't like poppy type music from women. Too bad they got ahold of staind's music. I really like their music and now radio and more places are getting ahold of more of stainds music...

Listen to what you like. Dont lsiten to somethinmg cause it's on the radio, dont listen to something cause it's on MTV, anbd dont lsiten to something because no one else's heard of it. Listen to it cause you like the music and the artist.

I discovered Alien Ant Farm a few months before Smooth Criminal became popular. It's okay but there are much better song on the cd IMO (Flesh and Bone, Stranded, and Calico are a few). Also, Finger Eleven is good too.
