Alien abductions may be vivid dreams: study

Makes sense, if you were an alien species wanting to study a human or keep some for DNA purposes there are plenty of out of the way places in the boonies where it might be a long time before anyone even notices someone missing, to live in an crowded urban environment and claim to be abducted is laughable. Now Betty and Barney Hill, that's an interesting case as Betty, under hypnosis, drew star charts that pinpointed location of stars that hadn't been detected yet and the technology of that era prevented their detection until decades later..

Are there more of such cases ? How detailed where the star charts ? Is it possible there was a combination of coincidence and a prejudice to find aliens by the researchers ?

If you study most alien visitation stories, you'll find the majority of the people claim they were paralyzed during the encounter.

Research "sleep paralysis," it's a common disorder (that I myself have) that your body will fall asleep but your mind is still awake and you can see but you cannot move and during this, you often hallucinate (I do all the time) and the hallucinations are extremely vivid and real like. It's actually really scary sometimes.

I've hallucinated about all kinds of things, monsters, aliens, even a car salesman in my bedroom trying to sell me a Subaru. Most alien "encounters" are just this, hallucinations caused by sleep paralysis.

I actually have had this happen a few times since I was a kid. It is kind of scary, but also cool at the same time. The hallucinations are very realistic while you are still asleep but when you wake up they are obviously not.

A couple times I actually could control what I was hallucinating. It ended up being a lucid dream paralysis.

I wonder if there is a connection between (catholic) priests, and alien abductions where there is also a lot of anal probing. The little men could have been choir boys.
