was definitely a fun game. I'd rather see a movie or a sequal at this point. I already beat it once.

Whoa Alice.

I just re-installed the original. It still looks pretty damn good at 1680x1050 with 16xAA, 16xAF etc.

Maybe I'll finish it this time.

I'll believe it when I see it. They've been talking about a sequel ever since Alice first came out. For a while the rumor was "Oz" then that died.
They did start making some episodic games based on Grimms fairy tales, but those havent really wowed anybody.

Ugh... its EA though... The boats been missed to profit off the sucess of the original because its been too long so any sequal would have to be able to stand on its own and actually be a good game rather than succeed off the name of its predecessor which is what EA's strategy usually revolves around.

I heard they were making a movie of alice as well, sarah michelle gellar was rumored to be alice.

Afaik, Alice does not have any mods released to run it at 1680 X 1050.

Sorry, I typed without thinking.

I set out the res to whatever the highest below 1600x1200 is (my monitor can't do 1600x1200). If you max out everything in the NVIDIA settings it sure looks like it's running 1680x1050 though.

I really enjoyed that game. Not as twisted as it could been (a good thing IMHO), but very different. The Disney movie freaks my wife out as it is :p

It's as much EA as Left 4 Dead was EA, or Crysis was EA or the new id game will be an EA title.

Ah right cool, i just read the title of the article and assumed they were developing it. Well it should be a good game then, the original certainly was.

You could probably find a config file or other file ending in .cfg in the game directory with entries for "display height" and "display width" in it somewhere. If you find it enter 1050 next to display height and 1680 next to display width in whatever format the other entries are in and save the file. When you next start the game it should be in the proper resolution, although it'll probably say something else in the game's settings menu. This doesn't work for all games but it works for quite a few.
