Ive beaten the first time you meet him when the gryphon comes in. The second time you face him in queensland is where i am stuck. I cannot seem to beat him for the life of me. Is there some kind of trick? I hit him with the jabberwockys eyepiece at full strenght at point blank range and that didnt even seem to phase him...

this is getting aggrevating as i want to beat this game so i can install another one.

It's the toughest part of the game, without a doubt. His flight does have a little bit of a pattern at times, so you'll have to watch that. If I remember, you'll need about 4 hits with the eyepiece. After the first 2, he does a lot less flying. Keep moving and stay on the edges. Keep him behind you at all times and don't let him take an angle at you. It probably took me 30 or so tries before I finally beat him. Good luck.

I hit him with the blunderbuss straight off. Another shot with the eyestaff and he is grounded. A couple more and he is toast.

Use the Gryphon's body for cover (the meta crystals are near there). I got really (really) lucky and beat him on the first try (the only boss I was lucky enough to do that).

i got pissed off after getting killed 40 times..i just turned on God mode after.

Thanks guys. I would get him grounded and then he would just take the angles on me. Now to quit playing CS long enough to beat Alice.
