Alias- Series Finale

JEDI

Lifer
According to Rambaldi, a woman bearing Sydney's characteristics will appear. She will fulfill the prophecy and "render the greatest power unto utter desolation".

but this woman has never seen the sunrise from a certain mountain. and syd went up to that mountain and saw the sunrise.

so wtf? how did syd still fulfill the prophecy?!

and WTF is the Horizon? What's in the container? Did Sloan drink out of it b4 he was shot? if not, then how is he still alive? oh, and does that mean Rambaldi is also alive?

AND Why didnt Irvina (Syd's mom) drink out of it immediately when syd showed up at her place?!

ya, i had a lot of questions too.

so basically, rimbaldi's greatest work is the life potion?

yes, irvina did say that rimbaldi was still alive.

also, was the Rose rimbaldi? or was he just another person that drank the potion.

For a show that had some nice, dark, interesting plots when it started out, it sure fizzled out pathetically over the last three seasons. The guy who played Sloan played an awesome villain. Again, the script fizzled. Good riddance. These last few episodes really cleared nothing up, nor closed the book. I'm not going to watch something like ?Alias:Returns? in 3 years when it comes out.

Based on the lack of chatter on this topic, the show has been a major letdown for others as well. So much for good entertainment.

I never cared for this show, but wow wtf? Last two seasons I glanced at they have great floating balls of fire over a city, and now they are playing relic hunter? Isn't this a CIA spy show with a lead whiny looking spy? Nikita (TV) was spy material (read: bad*ss).Only reason I even watched it for 5 minutes was Amy Acker last night. End rant.

I liked how it ended and it's clear they left it open for movies, etc. After all, someone could find Sloan buried underground, instant villain!

It is unfortunate that the show tanked so much in the last 2 seasons (well, I would argue that the beginning of the end was all the "cloned" villians).

I think they should have forgotten the Rambaldi stuff and made Sydney's back story more interesting. What was it, the end of season 2 that had the big cliffhnager with Sydney opening the safe deposit box in Zurich? That seemed like they could have gone off in a really cool direction, but instead it got convoluted for the sake of being convoluted, and the various threads of the story were never answered.

Oh well, at least the acting continued to be really good. All in all, it was a very good show...at least they ended it now instead of dragging it on even further.

I agree, the Finale did suck (and was corny to boot).

My wife and I never missed an episode (gotta love TIVO 🙂 ). They really did drop the ball on that series. I think the Rambaldi plotline as well as Sloan as the villan should have been the entire crux of the show with SMALL departures into other plotlines instead of the other way around. It just wasn't consistantly good (the story line).

For all you die hard fans, just thought I'd pass along that 'Marshall' appeared on a TV Series from 1999 called ROSWELL. He plays almost the SAME TYPE of character 🙂

On another note: You can see 'Locke' from LOST in a TV Series called MILLENIUM (by Chris Carter of X-Files Fame). VERY good show. A step darker than X-Files. A must see for the X-Files crowd.
