They're starting with four models in 2014 -

Giulia (I'm interested in this guy's price tag - what will 35k get you as far as options)

This odd little crossover -

...and the 4C in roadster / coupe (I assume they consider two different models to get the count to four total)

-- All you track gets might like this -
Engine 1,750 Cc, Turbocharged 4-Cylinder
Engine Horsepower > 200 Horsepower
Engine Torque TBD (250 Pound-Feet [TopSpeed Est.])
Transmission Twin-Clutch Automatic
Acceleration (0-100 Km/H) < 5 Seconds
Top Speed > 250 Km/H (155.34 Mph )
Curb Weight Under 850 Kg (1,873 Lbs)
Weight Distribution (Front/Rear) 40 Percent/60 Percent

I LOVE ALFAS CAPS !!!!!

seriously though I love alfas. I grew up around em. I may buy a 90s 164 to celebrate!

Isn't the roadster basically the new Miata with a Fiat sticker?

They're supposed to share the same chassis, but a different powerplant and styling. Something like that. All the ND Miata info has mostly been rumors and speculation, so it's hard to say.

Uh, yeah, the new Alfa spider/roadster will be built by Mazda, in Japan 🙄

My bad, was thinking the 4c which wouldn't work since it's mid-engine. Hadn't even heard Alfa was doing a roadster/spider, not sure why really but ok.

That Giulia looks really, really good. 😱

This. I will accept the ugly grille since it's so much their 'thing.' And it is otherwise drop-dead sex and, as far as I can tell, is not just a copy of someone else's car...which all new cars seem to be, anymore.

problem with US car companies: too many brands
fiat's solution: introduce 4 more!
this brand is already existing and you can't brand an alfa like a fiat, it would look stupid and wouldn't carry the same prestige. Also it's fiat's luxury brand. It's like complaining that Lexus exists.
