Stein has got to be one of the smartest people on TV. He has on Conan or something a while ago, and not only does he seem to know a lot, he seems to be really intelligent. Trebeck does not come off as very smart, he just seems to know the answers to the questions.

I think Trebeck is smarter than most of you give him credit for. If you watch Jeopordy (sp?) a lot, you will see that he adds comments sometimes when someone answers a question wrong which shows that he seems to know about the event in question.
