that's cool, ground shipping is only $5.00 which is resonable if you don't wanna fight with the crowd tomorrow.

For qty 2 - 5, ground shipping is $2.67 each. $ 5 minimum. I got charged $5 S&h for order only one drive. May be I should have ordered two to save a couple dollars on S&H. S&H for 2 drives are $5.34, and add $2.67/each there after until 5. I haven't have the patience to enter qty 6 to see how much teh S&H came to.

For the sales tax, they charge it based on the ship-to.

However, on the e-mail confirmation, they have a disclaimer saying that the roder is processing, that the e-mail confirmation "does not act as acceptance of your offer to buy".

Well, still better than we go out in the snow storm with record snaow fall (16" to 30" in half a day).

If we get it, that's good, lost $5 S&H but save time wait in line for price match or wait outside the store 10am in the morning. If not, so be it. Hopefully 4-6 months later the price on 12x10x32x CDRW will drop to the same price level as $100 after discount and rebate.

Has anyone noticed that you need to buy the drive between Jan 1st 2001 and March 2001? So if you bought your drive today (Dec 31st) or earlier, you can't get the $30 rebate from Iomega.

yeah, three are so many threads I don't know which to post to..
they authorized my credit card, so I guess that's a good sign (but not a guarantee) that they will have one for me. I ordered around 1:15 am Eastern, so I think I have as good a chance as any. Considering the nearest store is one hour away with all this cold white stuff piled up on the ground.. it was my only shot at one..

Enough about the rebate already. There are two rebates on the web. One for before December31 inclusive and one for after.

The rebate form I got from COMPUSA today states: Offer good on purchases made between Dec 30, 2000 and March 31, 2001.
