almost all cows are raised this way, inside incredibly large warehouse like places with rows and rows of cows. This meat will eventually go to your local food store, into fast food burgers, etc.

You can however, by beef that was taken from cows that are raised were raised more ethically, they were outside on the grass for most of their lives. However, this meat you gotta order from online, or by the phone, and it's going to cost an extra dollar or two per pound of beef you buy. It's also not going to taste as "good" as normal beef would, since less fat is added to this meat.

Alec Baldwin is a crappy actor supporting a hopeless cause, people won't change.

Whoops, Im on Atkins anyway. Why the heck do we listen to hollywood types for any kind of advice anyway?? Like some dude who has someone bring him his frappucino in his personal trailer has ever had to do his own gardening, let alone grow crops on a farm.

How about this... ThaPerculator says that farmers have to endure all sorts of backbreaking labor, and adverse conditions (i.e. not having millions of dollars like baldwin, and actually having to pay for their own stuff, rather than getting free crap from ppl cuz they are a celebrity) in their life. Does that mean we should start up P.E.T.F. (people for ethical treatment of farmers)??? I'd love to see that day. You just know Baldwin's one of those idiots that only eats "organic" frutis/veggies and gets off on how fresh his tofu is.

Anyways, do you know how many mice/rodents/vermin are killed each year by farming equipment? oh that's right... they aren't cute so who cares.

my grandfather has a farm and we used to name the animals when we were kids. We knew they were food, so we gave them names like bacon, hammy, breakfast, steak. There was a herman in there too. DOn't know where that one came from but he was a 3000 pound Brown Swiss cow.
