He never said he would be drinking the beverage at room temp... just storing it that way and then drinking it on the rocks. Virtually any liquor will be fine this way.

If thats the case might as well have beer. granted its not the best tasting (imo far from bad yet)after its been warmed and cooled again. also imo warm beer tastes better than most liquor shots.

Damn you guys i really need a JD on the rox now and theres non in the house....grrrr

Pyonir My personal favourite scotch is Lagavulin. It is produced on the Isle of Islay and is aged for 16 years, has a very Powerful aroma with a peaty and definately smokey taste. It is one of the smoothest single malts i have tasted.

Any sissy drink will ice up fine. DNA, lemonade, bacardi, etc. Those are more like a soft drink, they do fine in ice.

umm, cuervo gold is poser tequila. If you want real tequila go for herradura or jimidor (cheaper). Honestly, I don't understand why people always drink the most advertised foreign booze. Everyone loves Absolut, Cuervo, or Bacardi. The taste of these famous brands just can't compare to other less advertised brands.

Never, ever drink montezuma tequila...*shudder*

Jose is the LEAST you should go with there. But tequila sort of spikes in price, so if you want anything better than cuervo you'll probably be paying $60+/bottle for the same amount.

As everyone above has said, most liquor will taste at least decent on the rocks. Just be sure you don't have some crusty water in your ice cubes, or that flavor will take away from the enjoyment. Nothing worse than tasting frozen peas in your vodka, heh.
