Alcoholic Drinks that include Ice?

I'm having a girl over tonight (parents out of town 🙂) and she wanted me to make a drink. What's a good alcoholic drink to make in a blender that includes ice?
 
Yeah I went there but there like 438 drinks that use Ice as an ingredient, so I was wondering for some personal recommendations.
 
Margaritas are the most common. It requires tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Or you can buy the premixed stuff in the bottle (usually cheaper but not as strong, might be a good choice). They have strawberry also.

Other than that, try Daquries, but I have no idea how those are made other than rum and fruit juice (maybe that's it?). Girls like those 🙂

My favorite summertime drink behind the margarita is a mojito. It's not made in a blender though.

Simple syrup, 2:3 parts sugar:water (I use a standard spoon for measuring out enough for just one person)
Add to a tall glass with ice cubes and a sprig of fresh mint. Crush mint on sides of glass, leaving it in.
Add white rum (I usually do half a glass, which is 4 shots)
Add splash of lime juice
Top with club soda (I use seven up because no one here stocks club soda (really)

It gives you minty fresh breath, which might come in handy later 😀
 
Frozen Margarita....
1oz tequila
1oz triplesec
4oz Margarita Mix
top off with ice
Splash of Sweetend Lime Juice
Blend

You can use the margarita mix to get that distinct flavor if you can't achieve it otherwise. Just remember, when pouring the alcohol to include Triple Sec and go light on the Tequila. Your girl won't drink any of your drinks anymore if you pour too much....(unless she's just trying to be wild) In that case, give her straight shots rather than ruining a perfect sipping drink. Trust me on this....I'm a pretty good bartender.

I would also recomend Lynchburg Lemonade if you have some Jack and Triple Sec.
1oz Jack
1oz Triple Sec
4oz Sweet and Sour
6oz 7up or Sprite *7up is better in this drink
Put plenty of ice in the glass...this one is good cold.
 
all mixed drinks should include ice....just mix like hell until u find something that tastes good.....also u can always go with captain and coke 😉 or u can go with a capecod or baybreeze can remember which is which but it vodka, cranberry, and oj.....or a sex on the beach or a melon ball.....need to go with something sweet and fruity unless she is a hard core drinker then its just scotch on the rocks


or just go and buy champainge if u need to get her liquored up to have sex :evil:
 
this is what i make for the ladies....

8oz vodka (get something decent like Absolut)
one can frozen limeaid (or lots of fresh lime juice)
handful fresh strawberries (strawberry marg mix will do here)
sugar to taste (might not need this if you use the marg mix)
tons of ice

blend it up!

makes 4 drinks.
 
If you don't know what you are doing (and it sounds like you really don't and that's fine) you should get the margarita mix or the Daquiri mix. You can get them with our without alcohol in them, and they include the "recipe" on the side of how much of what to add. Easiest=Jose Cuervo Gold Margarita mix with tequila in it already=just add ice.
 
Is it that hard to make mixed drinks? I figure I can just experiment a little bit since I'm completely new to this and learn that way.

its not hard. just use tons of ice and you'll get a nice slurpy effect.
 
If you've never used a blender before to make frozen drinks, you might want to pratice first with water/ice to get it down.

It's all a balance between getting the right amount of liquid in with the ice, then adding ice/liquid as needed.
 
Tequila Sunrise
Crushed ice
1 shot tequila
fill with fresh orange
drizzle of grenadine to add colour goes red to orange a very lovely drink
 
Girls like sweet and fruity to hide the alcohol. Experiment and make stuff up on your own. I made all these at one time or another. Didn't really measure though, just kinda added stuff in till it looked and tasted right:

- Kern's mango juice
- mango ice cream
- vodka
- ice

- instant coffee
- rockie road ice cream
- kahlua
- bailey's
- white rum
- vodka
- milk
- ice

- pineapple sherbert
- pineapple rum
- ice

- concentrated frozen lemonade
- frozen strawberries
- vodka
- ice

If the blender is too complicated (took me forever to figure out how to get the ice part right), here's some without ice:

- mango juice
- vodka
- midori

- coconut rum
- ginger ale

And mojitos are kickass
