*sigh* I have come up with a drink, I do not know if it's new or not but I was really bored today. Take a few chunks of watermelon (each chunk should be about 2"x3") and put the chunks in 12 oz. glass. Pour one ounce of good vodka over the watermelon. Fill the rest of the glass with ginger ale... Eat the watermelon with a spoon and then drink the remaining ale and vodka.
And on another note:
Today I set out to make some sauce kind of like Alfredo sauce... it was a huge failure. I looked through our refrigerator and noticed that we had some cheeses and decided I wanted something better than macaroni and cheese. So, I proceeded to cook the pasta and prepare my cheese sauce. It turns out the cheeses we had were Romano and a damned six cheese blend. I put the cheeses in the food processor along with some all-purpose flour. A very small amount of flour. I waited until the cheeses had made themselves into nice little granules. I poured some milk, cream, olive oil, and put a half stick of butter in the pot for the sauce. I let that cook into an integrated little bit of fluid and then I slowly let it boil. At this point I started adding the granules of cheese to the sauce and they integrated well enough. Unfortunately there was mozzarella in the mix of cheese. This one cheese jeopardized what would have been a nice sauce by making small balls. Well, the pasta dish wasn't so bad but the sauce was not what I had expected. At least I now know better than to trust a stupid package. Ah well. :beer:
