Alcohol 120%

I just purchased this software from www.alcohol-software.com . I just want to say, that this is a great program. I was using CloneCD, but this program has features from CloneCD and Daemon-Tools built right in. I just want to get other users opinions. So, what do you think of Alcohol 120%?

been using Alcohol 120% for the last few months. i use it mostly just for the virtual drive function, it is much easier to just load up a image file via it to install instead of burning right away ... the only problem i have had since getting the software was when upgrading the version a month or so ago, i did not uninstall the old version first (probably my mistake in the process), so the virtual drive made with the first version stayed and was not picked up as being made by Alcohol by the newest version of the software. it became a useless drive i could not even remove (a quick uninstall and reinstall of alcohol solved the problem). but i would recommend the software 🙂

I use it for the virtual drive function only and don't really need its advanced functionality such as cd image creation but it is an excellent program. However, if like me you just need virtual drives DeamonTools is a better option.

I used to use clone to copy cd's but ran into a few that it couldnt copy but now i havent found one game that alcohol 120% cant copy

I've been using version 1.42.308 for about six months and love it. However, it seems to fail on Sheryl Crow's C'mon, C'mon.

Boy, this has deteriorated into the implication "Where do you get a CD image if you didn't make one?" somehow.
