I have watched Bald Eagles mamy times on the Mississippi. There is a great park Across the river from Prairie du Chien, Crawford, Wisconsin, to watch eagles and ospreys. Best time is fall and spring during migration.

I've seen my first bald eagle in the wild few weeks back....and what a scene that was, couldn't believe my eyes.

PS. There isn't a big population in CT.
