Ok, I know the answer but does anybody had the experience of a GPF when booting a w98 machine with an Alcated ADSL USB modem? If I disconnect the USB cable boot finishes and then reconnect the cable and voilá, it works but it is annoying to plug and unplug cables all the time... Any clues or suggestion?
