I would like to know how to change the album art in WMP library.

I recently downloaded a single mp3 from a reliable site. Plays fine but now several albums in the library are showing that picture as their art. They had none before. Some of the affected file are mp3, some are wma.

How can I clean this up?

Thanks!

I remember that glitch, it was annoying. I forget if it actually modifies the file though, or if that only shows up in WMP. Like if you copied it to your phone, the blank album pic would still show up.
Right click and pick Find album info. Then you can find the song in their library. Even THEN it does some funky things in the display of other albums in WMP after. After closing and opening it a couple times though it fixes itself.

I realised that the affected 'albums' were odd bits collected here and there, and not CD-type albums. Can't look them up online.

I looked at them with MP3tag. They did not show any art. I added a picture as 'art' to one of the files. In the WMP library, it copied onto the other oddballs, but didn't affect the legit albums. The recently downloaded mp3 retained it's correct art. Evidently the whole thing is just a bug in WMP. :) big surprise, that.

I do think I will start a file of all the correct cover art jpg's, so I can add them back if needed.

Thanks for the input, Red.
