I've personally never been to Albertos, though I see them everywhere. I used to go to Alertos (they look practically the same) in Fountain Valley. Their carne asada nachos/fries aren't too bad either.

no way are alerto's and alberto's the same

alerto's is awesome, alberto's is crap, but both suck balls compared to the awesome mexican street food in los angeles.

clairemont, mission bay/bay park, kearny mesa/convoy. i dont know if its a good or a bad thing that i know where each of those places are at. :hmm:

by my work its ridiculous the crazy good mexican food nearby. mr. taco, sombrero's, santana's and of course albertaco's off sycamore.

where do I find Alebrto's? In my experience, the mexican food in the Bay Area is quite lousy compared to what I hear exists in SoCal.

Chicago Mexican food is way better than what we get up here. ...Then again, it is the largest Mexican population outside of Mexico. :hmm:
