3DMark2001 SE Scores:

Mobo set to "Turbo settings"

DDR333, 2.4MHZ, 133FSB---11177

DDR350, 2.52MHZ, 140FSB---11525

DDR362, 2.61MHZ, 145FSB---11695

DDR375, 2.7MHZ, 150FSB---11918

DDR382, 2.75MHZ, 153FSB---12034....but intermittent lockups during 3DMark

DDR400 (Set ram to "turbo mode"), 2.7MHZ, 150FSB....BSODs...reboots during 3DMark

All above tests with Factory voltages.

DDR400 (Set ram to "turbo mode"), Set DDR voltage to 2.6V, 2.7MHZ, 150FSB---12115

Any thoughts on tweaking for better scores?

the usual method is to back off the memory speed and timings ~ to find the cpu oc limit.

once thats been achieved you can now speed up the ram (ratio/cas settings) til that tops out.

Agreed!!! Those lockup and reboots was the machine telling you to boost the vcore of the cpu....You will not get a clear picture of the rams ability and vice versa the cpus ability the way you are going...

Isolate the cpu for now and find its limit...At each setting (go in same 5fsb increments) and at each step loop some 3damrk and run prime95 for 1 hour...if it passes then jump up more fsb , if not then raise vcore....

Once you get to vcore level you feel is your limit then prime test it for 5-12 hours....

Then and only then start tweaking memory. Often times raise mem speed will result in a need ovf vcore boost as well which may make you back off of fsb to keep the vcore within a certain range....Go ahead loop 3dmark...run memtest86 through all the test. may have to adjust a few up or down to optimize system and hold stability.

hehe ~ if you use good scientific method, it shouldnt take that much torturing ;)

hint: its a lot quicker to fail ;) (then back down til it passes)

Seems 2.84MHZ is tops for this CPU @ 1.65VCore. (didn't try higher voltage)--Hardware monitor in bios only shows 1.56-1.60 Vcore though.
158FSB, DDR@ 395 and 2-6-3-3 nets 12240ish 3DMark scores.
OK I guess for a "budget" P4 sys with stock cooling.
Should I look for more out of this? :)
