Recently, my Albatron TI4400 video card has had problems displaying output through its DVI connector. Their technician told me that it sounded like a video card problem and told me to send it to their RMA department. The card was still under their 1 year warranty.
2 weeks later, I received my card back with a message saying that the DVI connector was defective. However, they included a note saying their warranty policy does not cover any "physical damage or burnt circuit" on the video card. I never overclocked this card, nor made any physical modifications to it. So, shouldn't my warranty still apply? What are my options?
Their policy also made me wonder...what does their RMA cover? If the card itself has a defect, and their warranty doesn't cover physical damage or burnt circuits, when do they actually repair the card?
