Albatron PCX5300 will not load WDM drivers (XPpro)

I just built a new PC using the Abit AA8 motherboard and installed an Albatron PCX5300 PCI-Express video card. For some odd reason when installing the driver the WDM driver(s) will not load successfully. Now, I am also having a problem with the TVTuner driver as well.

Ablatron ships only the nVidia reference drivers. I have tried loading the 1.27, 2.02, and 2.20 WDM drivers and they all fail. I have installed the 60.xx version of the nVidia Detonator drivers successfully, though. Any suggestions?

You're the first guy I see with a PCX card, looks like nobody has personal experience with these cards over here. Try to contact nVidia and tell them about this problem, you can send'em an e-mail.
And welcome to these forums

Wow, I didn't realize that when I join Anandtech forums it defaults to a male avatar. That's amusing. Anyway, I changed it to something more appropriate.

Is nVidia responsive to email? I didn't realize the PCI-Express was so new. I knew there would be a transition period until AGP (and especially PCI) went obsolete, but I didn't realize PCI-Express was so new that find core products would be a chore. Thanks for the advice.

Sorry for the mistake,
Anyway, PCI-Express is still new, and nobody seems to have it here yet.
As for nVidia, you can give it a shot, if they don't answer, try to contact Albatron.

You're video card does not support any VIVO features, for which the WDM drivers are for. You dont need to install this set of drivers.

I was thinking the same, but I thought they might've added VIVO to the PCX line, anyway, it's a cheap card.
How does it compare to the 5200 anyway? Is it like a 5200 or a 5200 Ultra? And how much did you pay for it, Sasha? Just curious

it is a pci-e version of the 5200, but it costs about as much as a normal 5200 ultra.
