Albatron, or Asus?

I'm building a new system...need to know what the deal about the onboard ethernet is, the difference between intels CSA bus, and say..Asus using 3Com's non-CSA chipset.

What are the advantages, and will I ever need the extra bandwidth the CSA bus enables?

I download music, and stuff, but other than that, from what I've read...unless you do alot of dedicated very large file transfers back and forth...the CSA bus enabled chipset is not going to do you any favors when it comes to download speeds off the internet.

I know the Albatron PX 865PE(proII) board is a little more expensive (around $30) than Asus P4P800 Deluxe, but I've read alot of good about both. The one (big?) difference being...Albatron has the chipset that uses the CSA bus for ethernet.

Actually GD, the Abit IS7 is the top in price/performance right now. About the network connection, even a 10Mbs ethernet could handle our fastest internet connections so forget about it as a criterion.

I second the IS7, it's a great board. However, it doesn't have any IDE RAID like the other two boards do (don't know if that's a consideration). If IDE RAID isn't important the px865 non pro II is also a good board (although it doesn't have the cool 8 ch. sound that the pro II does, but for about $70 less what do you expect)
