My first post here...:)

Got a Albatron PX845PEV Pro 845PE and a P4 2.4 S-stepping. (got the mobo for its price & ease of OCing...). I changed the frequency from 133 to 163 and now it runs at 2.93. But I noticed the temp. went up by 1 degree c at around 38~39c w/ stock cooling.

1) Should I be worried or is this temp. good enough?
2) Also, how does setting the CPU frequency affect AGP and DDR? Should I keep those settings at default or bump them up as well?

Thank You!

The AGP/PCI settings are locked on this board. So you can OC the heck out of the FSB and DDR and not have to worry about messing up your AGP. Notice: In the Frequency /Voltage part of the BIOS the AGP/PCI setings can't be changed.

I have this board, but unfortunately I am experiencing IDE controller issues and will be sending it back......for a replacement. After the reviews I have read I have to take this board for a test drive

I have same board....

2.4b at default w/ default vcore = 33c...
2.4b at 3.06ghz w/ default vcore = 34c
2.4b at 3.24ghz with 1.58v = 35c...

Those temps can be quite accurate...just cause it is set at a speed doesn't mean when it is idle and doing nothing that the temps will increase...try loading it and that is where you will see the real movement related to cpu speed and vcore and subsequently see how inadequate that retail hsf is when ocing this high....

FSB adjustment always effects ram speed as ram is a direct ratio of the clock speed of the fsb....you can control it by using the diff. ratios 1:1,3:4, and 4:5 but ultimately every change in fsb changes it...

Now the agp/pci also adjust with the fsb, but in the bios you can lock this (I recommned this) and it will holsd steady with a special device only to tell if it fluctuates from 33.3/66.6 much...
